We love the fact that people travel a long way to attend our events, SO PLAN YOUR NIGHT AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A TICKET! With a ticket you are guaranteed entry, if you arrive after 8pm you may need to wait in queue to gain entry (so long as you follow our rules and event policies – see below & info page). We work with Wild Orchid, Sunflower Music, Supre, internet sales and promoters to ensure we provide as many outlets as possible for you to purchase tickets. We have a zero tolerance to unacceptable behaviour, we work extremely hard and investment a lot of money to put on these parties to give everyone somewhere safe and secure to party! We make NO APOLOGIES OR EXCEPTIONS for the below rules and policies, they are in place for everyone’s safety and enjoyment. We are not a day care centre, if you don’t follow the rules and behaviour appropriately, you will not be permitted into the event or you will be asked to leave. We attempt to contact all parents to collect their children when people have been asked to leave or refused entry. It’s really simple, we’re all teenagers we should know how to conduct ourselves in group and public places, if you can’t follow the below rules….DON’T BUY A TICKET! NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN!!
Dan’s Apartment/Audio Mayhem maintains a zero tolerance policy to DRUGS, ALCOHOL & SMOKING. Anyone suspected of being under the influence will NOT be permitted or asked to leave. Police and parents will be contacted.
Security is our NUMBER ONE priority, we work exclusively with our security company to provide the highest standard of security and safety for all our patrons.
SPECIAL EVENTS POLICE & SECURITY GUARDS are paid by Audio Mayhem to attend EVERY event and patrol the area from 5.30pm to 11.30pm. Parents, if you have any further questions or concerns please feel free to contact melissa@ audiomayhem.com.au
Again, we have strict rules of entry and expected conduct at our gigs, this is for your benefit. You will be refused entry/removed from the event and appropriate action taken if any of the following rules are broken and the actions and persons details will be recorded on our register and given to the police at the end of the event:
1.Alcohol, smoke and drug free event
2. Zero tolerance to anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Anyone under the influence will be questioned by security, parents contacted and appropriate measures will be taken.
3.Management of the event reserves all rights to refuse entry.
4.No entry after 8pm, if you are a ticket holder and arrive after 8pm we cannot guarantee entry due to sell out events or you will have to queue and wait patiently for some people to leave to gain entry! MAKE SURE YOU ARRIVE BEFORE 8PM
5.No thongs, gang members, rat tails, striped polo shirts, Nike TNs, shorts. Smart Casual dress only.
6.As a condition of entry all patrons will be searched. Male and female security staff are on hand to conduct the search of patrons who will be asked to empty pockets, small bags & wallets, no bags are permitted into the event. Refusal to allow a search will result in NO entry.
*All bags are to be placed in the provided cloakroom at a cost of $2. All care is taken, however, we do not accept any responsibility for lost or damaged items. Due to high numbers of people, once bags are placed in the cloakroom you cannot access them until you leave, should you need money, mobile phones, lip gloss etc make sure you take them before you place your bag in the cloakroom.

8.Bullying, disrespect and bad behaviour is not tolerated. Patrons are required to treat the venue and others with respect. If any patrons are found intimidating others, use of inappropriate language, fighting, pushing, showing or jumping the queue will result in NO entry or removal from the event.
9.Any patron who disobeys event policies or show disrespect to any venue staff, Audio Mayhem Security or local police will be removed from the event or NO entry will be permitted.
10.All events finished at the advertised time, all patrons are asked to leave in an orderly, quick, calm manner. Minimal noise upon entry/exit to respect local residence.
11. We endeavour to use venues that provide convenient access for parents to drop off and collect their teenagers. We ask parents/guardians to collect their children from the venue, as patrons are not permitted to hang around or about the streets, prior during or after the event.
12.Local police are notified and attend throughout the event.
13.Parents assist on the night, St John Ambulance certified person in attendance.

Refunds will not be provided to any person breaching these conditions.
The Promoter reserves the right to use the images/video taken by the Official Photographer/video cameraman at each Dan’s Apartment (“Images”) in any medium for its own promotional purposes; and without seeking further permission. By attending and participating at any of Dan’s Apartment Events, attendees consent to the Promoter using the Images/video in this manner.
Attendees and General Public who download a digital version of the Official Photos may only use the Official Photos (in whole or part) for non-commercial purposes. Further, the Attendees and General Public agrees not to use the Official Photos (in whole or part) for commercial purposes, nor will the Attendees or General Public approve any third party using the Official Photos (in whole or part) for any commercial purposes. Attendees and General Public will also be required to comply with any other terms presented at or before the time of download.
AUDIO MAYHEM NOISE POLICY
Noise regulations aim to be fair and provide allowances to noise regulations for “SPECIAL EVENTS” such as Audio Mayhem. Audio Mayhem have taken necessary steps to ensure we work closely with the police and have referred to policies set nationally for “SPECIAL EVENTS” ensuring that the sound amplification will not unreasonably disturb people within the vicinity. Regularly monitoring will occur during the evening to ensure compliance with set terms.
The amplified sound level associated with the event shall not exceed:
• Between 6pm and 11pm on each night of the event:
LAeq level of 86 dB (C) beyond 100 metres from the outside of the venue, the sound levels specified may be exceeded for up to 5% of the one minute periods between 6pm and 11pm but shall not be exceeded by more than 5 dB (C).
Amplified Sound: is any sound created by an electronic device or group of connected electronic devices incorporated one or more loud speakers or other electro-mechanical transducers intended for the production, reproduction or amplification of sound, including but not limited to a radio, television, amplifier, loud speaker, public address system, sound equipment.
Audio Mayhem provides a safe, controlled and secure environment for the youth of the Gold Coast to attend, these events are generally only held during school holidays.
